Glisk and Glimmer - ‘Hilbre Island’

It was wonderful to have my poem ‘Hilbre Island’ published in the anthology Glisk and Glimmer: Poems About Light from Sídhe Press.

The poem is about a trip to Hilbre Island - off the coast of The Wirral in North-West England - with my queer walking group, and the joy that can be found in friendship and community, as well as in nature.

I enjoyed reading at the online launch for the anthology, and hearing so many poems from all around the world. This is a really lovely book.
