Fruit Journal - Cory (poetry sequence)

It is a joy to have a sequence of four poems published in Fruit, a Manchester-based queer journal I have long admired.

These poems are part of a wider project, about the summer when I had surgery for the first time, and bonded with a cormorant.

You can read my sequence online at Fruit, and there is also an audio recording of me performing it.

‘Cory’ is part of brilliant Issue Six, on the theme of ‘Interrelation’. I’m so happy to share this space with some lovely writers and creatives, including friends.

I hope you enjoy learning about the fabulous Cory. Do be aware that these poems include medical themes.
