Ink, Sweat & Tears - ‘Fish at the quarry’ and other poems

I have had a number of poems published at Ink, Sweat & Tears over the years.

‘The rain watcher’, inspired by my cat, was one of my very first published poems, in Summer 2014. ‘Sunflowers’, based on a surreal experience when I was living in Spain, was published in Spring 2016.

‘The golden hare’, written during lockdown as I missed my Mam, was published in early 2021. ‘Fish at the quarry’, about urban nature and mental health, was published in Autumn 2022.

Most recently, I was invited to be part of the Twelve Days of Christmas 2023-24, and my poem ‘Weighing yourself in the dark at Christmas in your parents’ house’ was chosen and published.
