Lancaster Litfest’s World into Words - Three poems

Lancaster Litfest create brilliant poetry maps and mosaics as part of each festival. I’ve enjoyed being part of a number of them, including the From Source to Sea map, with poems linked to waterways, and mosaics on the themes of Refuge, Environment, and Histories.

In March 2025, it was lovely to have three poems published on the World into Words map: “A point on the horizon” in Galway, “Cobh Harbour” in Cobh, and “Circles in circles” in Vienna.

All three of these places are really important to me, and it is an honour to see my poems representing them on the map. I hope you enjoy reading them.
