The Interpreter’s House - ‘Is this how it ends?’

The Interpreter’s House has been a dream publication for years, so it was an honour to have my poem ‘Is this how it ends?’ published in Issue 85 in Spring 2026.

My poem was inspired by the painting ‘Funeral of a Viking’ by Frank Dicksee, which I enjoy looking at in Manchester Art Gallery, and addresses themes such as climate change and what makes us human.
