Support with bid and funding applications
I worked for two years in putting together bids for public sector work within the construction industry (I worked for an architect practice and then a civil engineering practice), which allowed me to develop my skills in dissecting a brief, writing clearly and persuasively, and making sure all questions are answered.
In early 2021, I successfully applied for a £10,000 Developing Your Creative Practice grant from Arts Council England. I have since advised writer friends on their applications.
