Rewriting Manchester

I was invited to take part in this exciting project at the Portico Library, designed to make Manchester more accessible to different groups of people.

I was commissioned to write two new poems, about the International Burgess Foundation, and Partisan at Islington Mill.

These poems, ‘After the rain’ and ‘Electric’, view these spaces through my queer and neurodivergent lens.

They are published in the Rewriting Manchester zine, sold at the Library. I also recorded audio and video versions of the poems, which will appear online in the future.
