Antiphon - ‘Meiga’

Antiphon was a magazine that was on my radar when I was starting to send my work out, so it was wonderful to be accepted into Issue 21 in June 2017, with my poem ‘Meiga’.

The issue can be read online - I am on page 40. ‘Meiga’ is the Galician word for ‘witch’: both the magical being, and the type of flatfish. The poem is inspired by my time living in Vigo, Galicia, and by food, senses, the ocean, and language. I hope you enjoy it.
