The Bangor Literary Journal - ‘Stars’ and ‘Something happened’

I was delighted to be Commended in The Bangor Literary Journal's ‘40 Words’ Competition in Summer 2020 with my poem ‘Stars’, about mental health, books, and lockdown loneliness.

Then, in Winter 2020, I was Highly Commended in the Eighth Annual Bangor Poetry Competition with my poem ‘Something happened’, about satsumas, anxiety, and wishing you could comfort someone.

‘Something happened’ was then published in Issue 13 of the Journal, on the theme of ‘The Blue Hour’.
