Queerlings - ‘My other half’ and ‘Indigo nights’

I was really happy to have two of my queer poems in Issue Three of Queerlings in May 2021.

‘My other half’ explores relationships, opposites and identity:

‘…No-one comes up to our neck of the woods in winter.

She wears enormous slippers like teal chinchillas,

plonks them in my lap…’

‘Indigo nights’ is a celebration of The Indigo Girls and how their music helped me to accept and embrace my queerness when I was at University.
