Creative Review and Visual Verse - ‘Stuff and Sales’ (flash fiction)

After having a number of pieces of writing published at Visual Verse - a project that challenges writers to respond to a different image every month - I was delighted to be selected as a featured writer for a very special edition.

In 2017, Visual Verse collaborated with Creative Review, with the featured writers’ work appearing in both publications. The prompt image was Alicia Bock’s photo with the ‘Dead peoples stuff for sale’ sign, that appears on the cover of Creative Review.

I wrote a flash fiction, ‘Stuff and Sales’, which is available to read online at Visual Verse.

‘Stuff and Sales’ was also published in the October/November 2017 issue of Creative Review, and is still available to read on their website, though you have to be logged in.

I’m really happy I was chosen for this collaboration, and that I was able to share my work with a new audience.
