Fictive Dream - ‘Places where I go to hide’

My short story ‘Places where I go to hide, or a Guide to Cabestany by Cécile age nine’ was published by Fictive Dream in Autumn 2016, and is available to read online.

Inspired by Cabestany in the South of France, this is a story from a child’s point of view that gradually lets us learn more about the sadder parts of her life. However, ultimately Cécile finds ways to feel empowered, through singing, and writing her story.
