Lancaster LitFest’s From Source to Sea - ‘The right ending’

Lancaster LitFest 2023 is based around the theme of rivers, and the From Source to Sea Poetry Map is a brilliant online resource with poems set across the North. My poem ‘The right ending’ is published on the map, in central Manchester / Salford.

I was delighted to be selected by LitFest Poet-in-Residence Katie Hale as one of the 13 writers to perform at LitFest’s From Source to Sea Gala at The Story in Lancaster.

My poem is part of my series about undergoing surgery in 2022, and making friends with an urban cormorant. It was great to share it at the Gala, and receive some lovely feedback.
