Get Heard with Ergon Theatre

In March 2022, I was delighted to be a winner of Ergon Theatre's Get Heard competition, which challenged writers to research how climate change could affect something they care about.

I love urban nature, including the bats that fly over my local river. I wrote a monologue, Batty, about how bats help my mental health, and how climate change could seriously impact their life cycle.

I had a brilliant day working with the other four winners to professionally record our pieces at Contact Theatre. We then curated a radio show which aired on Earth Day on Reform Radio. You can listen to it here.
